Battlestar Wiki:Think Tank/Rating System

This is an archive of an unsuccessful proposal that was vetted through the Think Tank, a place where ideas of all kinds are proposed and worked upon by the community prior to implementation. Please do not modify this proposal.

My Proposal is simple. Create some sort of rating systm in which the fans of the show can give there rating/ranking of each episode.

EX: My rating for Rapture would be any of the following:

A

4.5/5 Stars

9.0/10 Stars etc.

There could also be a little spot for fan's thought's on each episode, parts they liked and didn't like.

Your Rating of Battlestar Galactica Episodes

  1. What is the benefit of this proposal to the wiki?

My Answer: It will help find out what are the most loved episodes of the New Series

  1. What is involved in implementing this idea?

A: A rating system of some kind (5 star scale, Letter scale: A-, C+ etc.)

  1. Who is going to do it?

A: I'm new here so I'm not sure how everything quite works yet but I would love to help.

  1. Why should we do it at all?

A: It would help us figure out what the fans loved about each episode.

  1. How will we use the idea?

A: Fans of the show could rate each episode and there could be a ranking of the episodes as ranked by the fans.

  1. Should the proposal pass, when will work start on this idea?

A: Yes, immediatley.

  1. Where will this idea be implemented? (e.g. Will it be on certain types of pages or the entire Wiki in general?)

A: There will be a slot for each episodes rating/ranking in the box that gives the description of the epidose (underneath the main picture from the episode). There will also be a seprate page where the overall rankings of the episodes will be listed in which the page contains the ranking of episodes from best rated to worse rated.
