Blank or Change?[edit]

The DNS stuff should be well past, now. Should we blank the sitenotice, or change it to something else? --Steelviper 12:58, 9 November 2006 (CST)

Pimp my store?[edit]

Wasn't sure what to replace the sitenotice with, so I blanked it for now. Maybe a quick link pointing people to the new Amazon store? --Steelviper 16:13, 12 November 2006 (CST)

Honestly, I would really want to let people know about the policy concerning the "Questions" sections of episode guides. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 16:21, 12 November 2006 (CST)
I was going to do a quick "By your command" and just link to BW:FORUM, but I noticed (unfortunately) when I checked the link that nothing was there yet. I gave it a quick start, but I figured our resident wordsmiths (especially Spence) might want to have a go at it before I link to it at the top. Of course, having it on the sitenotice would certainly get people through to it in order to see it and read about it/make corrections. Let me know if you still want me to link the sitenotice to it yet, or not. --Steelviper 18:26, 12 November 2006 (CST)
Heh. Actually, had I not fallen asleep, I would have already busted out BW:FORUM. :-) I'm going through it now, but it looks very good, and is in line with the idea previously dunked into the tank. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 10:03, 13 November 2006 (CST)
Ok, I'm done with what I wanted to do with it. Once Spence has gone through it, it should be ready to roll and kick some Cylon ass. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 11:14, 13 November 2006 (CST)
Update done. I added one item that might be useful (or not): Given that we had some contributors who repeatedly done this, we should warn them a few times and then remove their editing priveleges (though not ban) the contributor to see how things go. The other edits should be self-explanatory. --Spencerian 16:46, 14 November 2006 (CST)
Blocking editing privs is all that we (as sysops) have the power to do anyway. "Blocked" people can still view, just not edit. A "ban" (in terms of not being allowed to read even) would likely have to be done at the server level by one of the technical staff. I don't think that has ever occured. I'll update the sitenotice.--Steelviper 16:54, 14 November 2006 (CST)

Typo[edit]

"Make sure when you are will out the "Episode Overview" template"

This doesn't make any sense whatsoever. However I'm not sure what it's supposed to say, so I can't change it --Serenity 05:49, 25 January 2007 (CST)

New text suggestion[edit]

Your Votes (and Time) Count! Contributors are encouraged to make suggestions, comment on and vote for projects under considerations in our Think Tank. There are many other projects that could use a hand as well. Thanks in advance for your contributions.

I can't change it due to non-adminness, so could someone please put it up there? (Rephrase it if you feel the need) --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:50, 21 April 2007 (CDT)

Done --Serenity 15:55, 21 April 2007 (CDT)
Thanks. I made a typo, though, and you copyedited it. Could you change "considerations" to "consideration"? TIA --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 16:00, 21 April 2007 (CDT)

BW:TANK discussions[edit]

Since Joe has breathed new life into the discussions about historical BW:TANK proposals, maybe we should put a call to arms up here, similar to what Joe did on the blog. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 12:51, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
