The official name of the makeshift news service created by the handful of media reporters still alive in the Fleet (mostly the large group that was aboard Colonial one for the Galactica's decommissioning cermony). They frequently hold press conferences abord Colonial One. D'anna Biers was a documentary reporter for the Fleet News Serice. ("Final Cut"). They have been used for spreading information about knnown Cylon models throughout the Fleet ("Litmus"). The Colonial Gang probably airs on Fleet News Service broadcasts ("Colonial Day").
