Romo Lampkin's cat is a domesticated male animal and traveling companion of Romo Lampkin, as well as one of the last items Lampkin has of his wife, who was the original owner of the cat.
Lampkin hates the cat, but keeps it as a memory of his wife. He typically carries the cat around with him in a backpack, telling Laura Roslin that he does not "bite or scratch" like his wife did. He may have used the diversion created by his animal to steal Roslin's glasses.
Later, when boarding Sharon Agathon's Raptor, the cat escapes from his bag, jumping out of the Raptor before it could be moved.
