== Documenting Contributions ==
Don't let me stop you from documenting the stuff that you've done on your user page (other people do it too, and I've got a couple of projects highlighted on my own page), but I just thought I'd point out that everybody also has a detailed, edit by edit, record of their contributions. I'll grant that most people probably don't take the time to check it out, but it's the real meat of what they've done and I occasionally will skim the contribs of others to kinda check out what type of spaces they like to move in. [[Special:Contributions/Jeffrabb|Yours]] currently matches your user page pretty well. I was just pointing out that special page in case you ever wanted to check that out, or if you ever tire of keeping up with all your edits. Also, sometimes the edit remarks are funnier/more insightful/better than the actual edit itself. Anyways, keep up the good work. It's appreciated. --[[User:Steelviper|Steelviper]] 03:37, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to Battlestar Wiki![edit]

Greetings, Jeffrabb, and welcome to Battlestar Wiki! I'm pleased to tell you that you have full editing privileges on every wiki in the Battlestar Wiki network. I hope you enjoy your stay with us and am looking forward to your contributions to the Wiki! Why not begin by telling us a bit about yourself on your own user page?

As you may already know, Battlestar Wiki covers all the Battlestar Galactica series from past to present, in addition to authorized merchandise. Presently, we don't cover fan fiction, but our sister-site, Battlestar Pegasus, does so. We're also not a discussion site, although we do have an ever-growing Battlestar Forum where people can discuss the various shows and non-BSG topics as well!

To get started on the wiki, we suggest that you check out our tutorial, experiment in the sandbox (a test editing area for those learning wiki code), and review some of our basic policies (which have important differences from other SF wikis). For some general questions and answers about the navigation and operation of the Wiki, check out the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Of course, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you are more than welcome to bring them up at the Chiefs' noticeboard (which is frequented by the administrators of the Wiki) and at the Galactipedians' Quorum (which is the hub for contributors, who are called "Galactipedians").

Furthermore, if you don't wish to see the ads, then please consider upgrading your account to a paid membership, which costs only $10 USD a year and helps support the wiki financially. This membership also extends to the Battlestar Forum, where you can talk to other members about the show and most anything that you want to talk about to BSG fans! We think this is very cool, and we hope you do as well!

Thank you for joining us! Hope to see you soon! --Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 00:17, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Missing items[edit]

Hi Jeff,

Welcome aboard (again)! I've read the brief item on your user page and notice that you mentioned that we're missing some information. What information do you feel/see that we do not presently have? Also, if you have any quesstions on how to edit, you can start off at our tutorial and always feel free to ask us! Cheers! -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 21:27, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

He's obviously referencing some of the remaining podcast transcripts that need to be transcribed/verified. *nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more* *sigh* But likely not. Like Joe says, though, feel free to ask for help. and don't be afraid to dive in. --Steelviper 23:39, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Missing items[edit]

Hi, yes, I've found a name for yet another battlestar on a single frame in the miniseries. It is when Dee is receiving the frantic comms traffic right after the initial Cylon assualt and Lt Gaeta <sic> asks her: "What's the latest, Dee?". During her response, the camera focuses onto the messages she's just printed off. You have to slow the film down and go frame by frame, but in one frame you clearly see the header of one of the messages is from the "Battlestar Uned". Obviously there is nothing in any mythology with the name of Uned. My guess, it's a writer's room joke never meant to be noticed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jeffrabb (talk • contribs).

That was the props department. A lot of the prop paperwork was nonsensical to begin with anyway. I do believe the document says that there is a battlestar named "Uned." -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 14:23, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

Uploading images[edit]

I've read all the guidelines concerning the issue of uploads, but gosh darn it, I can't figure out how or WHERE you do the uploads at. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks
