Lieutenant Thorne was stationed onboard the battlestar Pegasus.

His role was well known amongst his fellow crew mates as the "Cylon Interrogator". His method of interogation included tortture and sexual assault, aided by Pegasus marines. Thorne and his men apparently raped the captued Cylon Gina, a copy of Number Six, on a routine basis (his men were "lining up for turns" with her), and this probably led to her mental condition.

He was accidentally killed by Galen Tyrol when Tyrol and Karl Agathon attempted to protect Sharon Valerii from him raping her.

Admiral Nelena Cain, who may have been complicit in the behavior, summarily arrested them. (Pegasus)
