Born in the Yukon (on May 20, 1975), Tahmoh Penikett is the son of former Yukon premier Tony Penikett, a member of the New Democrat Party of Canada. Tahmoh portrays Karl "Helo" Agathon.
He has only recently entered the world of acting but has an impressive list of guest appearances in genre shows such as Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1, and Smallville, as well as a lead role in the police procedural drama Cold Squad.
