Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, Cylon500. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Before you get started on other edits, please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in consistent use of phrasing, abbreviations, format, and the like).

Also, if you have any questions or suggestions you wish to offer, please feel free to do so either on your user talk page, the Wikipedian Quorum or Administrators' noticeboard. Remember to sign your posts on any talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)! --The Merovingian (C - E) 10:21, 27 May 2006 (CDT)

Where are you getting your information from?

Hi there! Welcome to Battlestar Wiki! May I ask where you're getting your information regarding Exodus, Collaborators and Precipice from? The reason I ask is because, last month or so, we have implemented a policy to quote official sources only. If you are getting your information from sources such as GateWorld and so forth, then they'll have to be removed. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 11:07, 29 May 2006 (CDT)

I also wanted to point out the sources stuff Joe already meantioned. BTW, the first episode of Season 3 is not the "38th" episode of the series, it is the 34th: 13 from season 1, plus 20 from season 2, would make that episode the 34th---->The Miniseries does not count as "episodes". --The Merovingian (C - E) 17:15, 29 May 2006 (CDT)

Warnings

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Battlestar Wiki, as you did to Exodus. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to Collaborators, you will be blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki.

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Precipice, you will be blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki.
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Episode 3.1, you will be blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki.
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Episode Guide, you will be blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki.
This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Torn, you will be blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki.

Rollback and Previous Edits

Hi, there. I rolled back your last edit to Hera because the comment you added is purely speculative and contradicts the initial motivations of the characters (Laura Roslin) that hid the child in the first place: One: If the Cylons knew of the child, they would do anything to get it back, which placed an even-larger bullseye on the Fleet. Two: If the populace of the Fleet knew of the child, they, too, would have very grave issues with the existence of another Cylon in the Fleet. We'll have to wait for the events of Season 3 to unfold before we can make a more fact-based analysis in the matter.

Also, as Shane has pointed out to you (albeit dramatically) in several warnings, Battlestar Wiki is an encyclopedia and episode guide based on official information only. Per policy, we do not use news from rumor or unofficial sources. Until Sci-Fi.com lists the official episode names (or we get it from another official source), this information is not allowed in the wiki. Please review these articles (Standards and Conventions, Official Sources, and Spoiler Policy) before making any further contributions related to future episodes. Thanks. --Spencerian 13:20, 18 June 2006 (CDT)

Revert to Hera artical

Just to let you know I reverted the changes you made to the Hera artical. We have a kind of minimalistic policy here so we dont put in placeholders or "none" like you did in the character infobox. Please only fill out the information where there is a notable bit of information. It is unneccesary to put "none" as the military rank for a 1 year old baby for example. I see you have had warnins for similar kinds of edits in the past from other people at the wiki so while I wont put a warning tag on your page this time I will ask you again to please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions page. Thanks --Mercifull 10:30, 20 June 2006 (CDT)
