An intoxicating beverage, it is likely alcoholic although this has not been explicity mentioned in the series. It is the re-imagined version of the original series' ambrosa.
Notably, Ambrosia is green in color.
Ellen Tigh presents a bottle of Ambrosia to her husband, Colonel Tigh, after they have reunited in the episode Secrets and Lies.
The luxury liner Cloud Nine offers ambrosia as a barside drink (Colonial Day).
Greek Mythology
Ambrosia was said to be the food of the Olympian gods of Greece. Said to confer immortality on those who eat it.
