Caprica City is the civil administration centre for the 12 colonies, and the seat of the President and the Quorum of Twelve.

It is a large blue-green planet, similar to Earth. It's largest centre of population is Caprica City, while other large centres of population include Dephi. Prior to the Cylon attack, the population was widely spread between cities suchas Caprica City and Delphi, and smaller hamlets such as Oasis.

The seat of all three branches of Colonial government.
