Caprica Receiving Station operates much like flight control for ships inbound to Caprica.

The Astral Queen receives DRADIS feeds from Caprica, allowing the Queen to automatically plot FTL jumps[1]. However, feed from this receiving station dies at the onset of the renewed Cylon attack, thus forcing the Queen to jump to the Gemenon Data Processing Complex instead (Battlestar Galactica: Zarek 4).
