Persephone is a ship in The Fleet. The ship has yet to be seen, but its name was shown on the voting tally board in "Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II."

The ship shares its name with a character in Greek Olympian mythology. The daughter of the goddess Demeter, Persephone is forced to marry the god of the underworld, Hades. Demeter works out a compromise where Persephone is allowed to return to the world of the living for a portion of the year.
