::: That's something I'd like to at least try. I was emulating Wikipedia's Community Portal which has a different (pastel) color for each box. However, I was pondering about tieing into the CSS, but haven't had experience with that. If you'd like to give that a go I'd be interested to see the results. --Steelviper 07:59, 1 February 2006 (EST)

:::: Well, in order to CSS-ify it, I'd need access to the .css file for each of the skins we've got going here... I could ask Joe about it, but I'd be kind of wary to hand out server access to people, were I him. Maybe I could just ask him for the file, modify it and hand it back in, like homework. ;) I'll refer him to this dicussion on his talk page. --Day 15:29, 1 February 2006 (EST)

I'm hesitant to edit this unilaterally, but if we want to re-open the discussion over the name of the Citation Jihad, the talk page is the place to do it. --Peter Farago 11:45, 31 January 2006 (EST)

Wouldn't have been a problem. I take no issue with the current name at all. I was just being silly, and didn't realize how quickly people would be checking this out. --Steelviper 12:56, 31 January 2006 (EST)

Color Scheme

Feel free to play with the color scheme. That upper right box is my favorite, and I nabbed it with the "eyedropper" off of MASON's BSG logo in the upper left. I'm not that crazy about the red, or the black, but they were other prominent colors (ripe for the "eyedropping"). I guess ideally it would be set up to look good regardless of the individual user's color scheme preferences. (This is getting WAY beyond my html depth, though.) --Steelviper 13:08, 31 January 2006 (EST)

Check out the new colors. Nowhere near perfect, but I enjoyed playing with the HTML RGB values to get something that looked halfway decent. (Dark red/brownish upper left, gray lower right). --Steelviper 15:18, 31 January 2006 (EST)
Is it your intent to have the four boxes be different colors in the end, or are you just showing some possibilities side by side? I think a unified look would be best... And I wonder if tieing it into the site's CSS for coloring wouldn't be best. That way it can change based on what skin a user is, well, using. This would be, I'm pretty sure, fairly simple to do (for me, anyway). --Day 04:24, 1 February 2006 (EST)
