Sgt. Watkins was one of the two Shore Patrol soldiers who came to Saul Tigh's run-down hotel room to inform him that he had been reinstated in the Colonial Fleet, thanks to his friend, Major William Adama.
This event occurred 20 years before the Cylon attack (Scattered).
