Talk:Set/Archive 1

Discussion page of Set/Archive 1

This might be best merged into "sources" pages for relevant pages? --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 15:42, 28 June 2006 (CDT)

RDM discusses some of the massive reuse of a multipurpose room (LDYB, part I, I think) and some creative camera work to maximize the purchased set for Pegasus(Captain's Hand?) in some of the podcasts. There might be some other set-related commentary as well, but those are the two that I can recall from what I have transcribed. --Steelviper 15:48, 28 June 2006 (CDT)

Guys I'm not sure if this is grounds for an article; I mean it's filed away under the subsections of CIC articles and such. The 2 pics we have right now don't actually bring much new to the table. I'm with Mercifull in merging this into a Sources thing for other pages. --The Merovingian (C - E) 21:22, 28 June 2006 (CDT)

Perhaps we could document the content of the video podcasts then instead of this set page? I dont mean to the exact detail like the spoken podcasts but perhaps a link to them and a summary with a few screenshots? --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 04:26, 30 June 2006 (CDT)
Perhaps on the DVD pages? These things start free online but are also released on the DVD sets as extras, and this would mean we'd use pre-existing, easier to find articles. --The Merovingian (C - E) 07:52, 30 June 2006 (CDT)

Cleanup

Aside from the obvious standardization needed, the pictures should be placed next to each other if possible.

But on a more general note this has something to do with Filming locations except that that page covers all shows at once. This one here is for the soundstages and the other page is for outdoor locations. Morever Unnamed Cities of Caprica has some info about locations in the Notes. But they could probably be combined somehow to concentrate the information in one place.

It's also a candidate for a possible "Behind the scenes" template I proposed at Talk:Small_arms.

Finally, to maybe add some more text, there is a bit of soundstage information in this YouTube video, but it mainly focuses on the CIC. --Serenity 12:33, 11 January 2007 (CST)
